Geography - Ecosystems at risk
Students will investigate an aquatic ecosystem including interactions, distribution and abundance and management issues.
The program will include:
Powerpoint introduction.
Fieldwork activities:
- Interpretation of data from maps and photographs.
- Biophysical factors testing - weather and water
- Distribution and abundance of pond animals
- GPS units and satallite images
- Management issues - tourism and conservation.
